Takako Kunugi Bassoon
Takako Kunugi plays 17th- 21st century Bassoons. She studied at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since Takako moved to Amsterdam she performs as a principal bassoon player with some of the world's leading ensembles and musicians including Bach Collegium Japan, Yokohama Sinfonietta, the Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht, the Holland Baroque, the Symphonie Atlantiques, Die Kölner Akademie, Die Wiener Akadimie, De Nederlandse Bachvereniging, Gabrieli Consort & Players, and The Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.
Recently she gave masterclasses for historical performance on the historical bassoon and chamber music in Mexico and Argentina. In 2014 she started building Curtals.
